Best Moments/Memories:

It all started because this dude I met who wanted to tackle me. He invited me down to play some tackle football and I accepted. My first game or two were tackle games (snow). Without gloves or cleats, I played a half decent game, and I tackled the biggest player on the field (I believe Mayhem or someone), so I got invited back to be a part of this magical league. I had only played flag football once before, but the football itself was not new. Over the years and BD nagging, I got myself cleats and gloves, played some awesome games, met some good people, many of which, I will never remember their names.

Here are a few good moments:

-Rabin was freaking out because I ran the “wrong” way on his broken play and took a different route to get the first down at a big moment in the game. Instead of leading with a block, Rabin ran along side of me just screaming “you are going the wrong way, you idiot, you idiot, what the hell are you doing?… wait keep going.” He didn’t sop while I ra it for the first plus some.

-The time that Socks had to straight of tackle me because “there were no other options.” Jordan had to write a whole PSA in his recap about how we work and our rules on tackling after that.

-BD used to step on my feet with his cleats until I got a pair of cleats

-This dude was trash talking B-sh on the line (on an icy field) and he got knocked out to the point where he didn’t remember he drove in. I think Jordan drove by later to see if he was alright, B-sh and I found the dude a few weeks later at shwaarma and I am pretty sure he said he got a concussion, but he was really cool about it (I don’t think he remembered how it happened)

-Vets/Rooks, I was in the hospital overnight dealing with some personal matters and I was not sure if i would even make the game. Jordan got us Evan to fill in if i could not make it. I got home in time to change clothing and rush to the field where the game had already began. While only playing offense (switching out with Evan for D), I played a great game. Eventually I was called out to help make some big stops on defense as we held them. Then caught my third TD to end the game and finally bring that W to the Vets and end their losing streak and begin the winning streak.
