I’ve expressed what Jewball means to me in hundreds of recaps over the years, but – bottom line – it is the elixir of life. It is a gift that always gives and never asks for anything in return except loyalty and effort. What it gives is a second family, purpose, health, and provides a goal and drive each year to stay – quite literally – in the game.

My greatest memories are the games being played under conditions that I can guarantee no other game was being played in the tri-state area. I just can’t believe I am still getting out there and all the faces I have seen over the years come and go. Hard to describe what Jewballers are, but as the years go by and the numbers increase, it’s like an army of the the best people I ever knew.
