The first year of Leagues started by Jabroni in an attempt to bring more competition and the idea of a “set” team to Jewball. The teams were created by a few of the captains and an outside team was brought in. Many people believe the Leagues to be good for Jewball bringing a new level of competition others feel like it takes away from the pick-up heart of Jewball.

Unexpected events, rule changes, and intense discussion made this season of Leagues into a learning experience for the next year. The Birds of Pray ultimately were declared the first ever league champions.
